New Product: LPC1347 LPCXpresso Board

Today we release a new LPCXpresso Board using NXP's Cortex-M3 based LPC1347 microcontroller.

The LPC1347 LPCXpresso board with NXP's ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller has been designed to make it as easy as possible to get started with Cortex-M3. The LPCXpresso comprises a target board combined with a JTAG debugger. A free Eclipse-based IDE from NXP is also included.

The LPC3250 Developer's Kit v2 is a kit that combines the LPC3250 OEM Board and the OEM Base Board. Many display options are available for this kit.

Please note that the old kit based on the QVGA Base Board is still available for purchase.

A pack with two 1x27 pin lists and two 1x27 headers suitable for the LPCXpresso Boards is now available. This products is especially useful for customers who have several LPCXpresso target boards and wish to use these together with the same LPCXpresso Base Board.

Ultra Low-Power Reference Design - the Oryx Board

Embedded Artists has developed a reference design for ultra low-power design called the Oryx board. The board is marketed exclusively by Arrow, see http://www.arroweurope.com/markets-solutions/solutions/oryx.html

The design is centered around the LPC11U14 Cortex-M0 micro controller from NXP. Even in full operating mode, the board consumes only 42mW. A rechargeable Lithium coin cell battery can power the board for weeks and months.

The board is an excellent start to learn about low-power design, both hardware and software. The board is accompanied by many sample applications and an extensive user's manual.
